Addressing substance abuse and mental health issues

Most of the city’s problems stem from mental health issues and substance abuse. A lot of the people in the city are hurting from mental health issues that they need help with. Those hurt people are hurting people.

Invest in local public education

The kids in the city are struggling in school. Their minds are focused on issues back at home. We need more love and support in Birmingham city schools. In order to do that we have to invest in the public education.

Increasing affordable housing options

Housing has become a major issue in our city. People are being pushed out of their neighborhoods because they can’t afford the rising rent prices. Minimum wage stays the same but rent is rising. That’s not right.

Who I'm Running Against

Randall Woodfin (Democrat Party)

Randall Woodfin is the incumbent and he’s been in office 8 years. Crime has risen to an all time high last year over 1,000 people were killed in the last 8 years. We have the lowest number of police officers, the lowest number of city workers and they are underpaid and under appreciated. There has been no transparency under this administration. He often lies.
