Past Experience
{"skills":"I bring over two decades of hands-on experience managing multimillion-dollar projects and facilities—some as large as six million square feet. I own and operate thriving businesses, and I know how to handle responsibility, solve problems, and get things done at scale. I moved my family to Leeds in 2020 with a heart for community and a plan for progress. Since then, I’ve continued leading not only as a businesswoman but as the founder of a nonprofit that invests in students and families through school drives, community events, and direct giving. I’m running for City Council because District 4 deserves strategic leadership. I already have companies interested in relocating here, and I’ve developed youth-centered programs to help kids get off the phones, out of trouble, and into brighter futures. My goal is to bring real opportunity, better infrastructure, and long-term investment into the community I now call home.","achievements":" Through my business and nonprofit work, I’ve led efforts to bring new opportunities to the area, and I’m proud to have companies now committed to moving into Leeds. I’m running because I care about this community, and I’m ready to take what I’ve already been doing to the next level — with a strong plan and a heart for the people.","responsibility":"I’ve never held political office, but I’ve been serving District 4 where it counts. I help keep our city clean, support churches and nonprofits with affordable services, and have personally donated over $7,000 in school supplies to Leeds students. I’ve also stepped in to help families with little league registration — and even purchased cleats and other essentials so their kids could participate. Through my business and nonprofit work, I’ve led efforts to bring new opportunities to the area, and I’m proud to have companies now committed to moving into Leeds. I’m running because I care about this community, and I’m ready to take what I’ve already been doing to the next level — with a strong plan and a heart for the people."}
My Top Issues
Early childhood education
Keeping children on the right path starts early—and that means investing in education-based child care. District 4 has a high-potential center that can be transformed into an early learning hub, offering structured, development-focused programs that support school readiness from the start. I want to make that happen immediately.
Parents need affordable, reliable options—especially during the summer months. This center can provide exactly that: a safe, enriching environment rooted in early education that prepares our children for success and supports families at the same time.
Attracting and retaining businesses
I’m not guessing about how to bring business to District 4 — I’ve already done the work. I have companies ready to relocate here and a multi-million dollar project in motion that will bring jobs, services, and long-term investment to our community.
What I want now is to make sure we’re ready. That means creating a district where businesses feel confident putting down roots — not through big promises, but through real support, communication, and follow-through.
As your council member, I’ll make sure business owners have a clear point of contact, quick access to what they need, and a seat at the table when growth decisions are made. District 4 is full of potential — and I plan to help unlock it with steady, practical leadership.
Street Lights, Side Walks, stop signs and speed breakers
Public safety starts with smart, simple fixes that protect our families. Many streets in District 4 are poorly lit and lack sidewalks, putting pedestrians and children at risk. We’ve already seen pets hit by cars—we can’t wait for a worse tragedy to act. I believe sidewalks should be a top priority, along with more street lighting, stop signs, and speed breakers in high-traffic areas where reckless driving has become a problem. Our neighborhoods should feel safe, walkable, and family-friendly
Infrastructure / Transportation
I’ll prioritize improving parks like Moton Park, addressing flood zones, building sidewalks, and expanding safe, family-friendly spaces — from splash pads to bowling, laser tag, and programs like sports camps that keep our youth engaged and active.
Taxes / Budget
I’m running for City Council because I believe Leeds deserves smart growth without higher taxes. That means bringing in new businesses, revitalizing neglected areas, and creating a city where families want to live and thrive.
