My Top Issues
Invest in local public education
When we invest in public education, we have better communities where students can achieve in life after high school, where families decide to stay in their local community and give back to the community in a multitude of ways. Families who feel more connected to their school community are more likely to be involved in their children's education, volunteer within the community, and create lasting bonds.
Collaborating with schools and community organizations
Strong partnerships between our schools and trusted community organizations give students safe places after school, caring mentors, and early help for challenges that can lead to violence. As a school board member, I will try to expand these partnerships to keep kids safe, supported, and learning.
School-Based Mental Health Programs
In N.J., students face a rigious state mandated testing regimie ontop of their civic duties, social life, homework, and sports. With proper school-based mental health programs we can provide students with a better chance to thrive and have successful futures.
